Privacy Policy
Parks Seeker does not collect names or any personally identifiable information. All data — park categories, check-ins, photos, and settings — is stored locally on your device.
Location
Parks Seeker requests access to your device's location only while the app is in use, to verify GPS check-ins and to show your position on the map. Your location is never transmitted off your device.

iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, your data may be backed up as part of your normal iCloud device backup. This is controlled entirely by your iOS settings.

Wikipedia
When you view a park's detail page, the app may fetch publicly available summary content from the Wikipedia API (en.wikipedia.org). No personally identifiable information is sent in that request.

Dropbox
If you choose to connect Dropbox (via Settings → Sync Check-Ins), your check-in data and photos are encrypted on your device before being uploaded to your personal Dropbox account. Parks Seeker accesses only its own app folder and does not store your Dropbox credentials. You can disconnect Dropbox at any time from Settings. Dropbox's own privacy policy applies to data stored in your account.

If you opt in to push notifications, Parks Seeker uses OneSignal (Privacy Policy) to deliver them. OneSignal receives a device token for the sole purpose of routing notifications. No personally identifiable information is shared with OneSignal. You can withdraw consent at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications, or in Parks Seeker Settings.

Before showing personalized ads, the app requests permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown. Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom are shown a GDPR consent form, and users in US states with applicable privacy laws (including California) are shown a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" opt-out — both via Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is loaded. Google may use device identifiers and other data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
